Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of LivestockBook, a livestock record-keeping application developed by Thomas Koukouris. By downloading, accessing, or using LivestockBook, you agree to these terms.

1. What LivestockBook does

LivestockBook is designed to help you manage livestock information, including animals, records, setup data such as farms, paddocks, groups, and medicines, and exports such as PDF or spreadsheet files.

LivestockBook is a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide veterinary, legal, accounting, or regulatory advice.

2. Your use of the app

You are responsible for how you use LivestockBook and for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information you enter, store, export, or share through the app.

You agree not to use LivestockBook in a way that violates applicable law, infringes another person’s rights, or interferes with the operation of the app or related services.

3. Local data and backups

Livestock records and setup data are primarily stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your records, exported files, and any important data created through your use of LivestockBook.

LivestockBook is not responsible for loss of data caused by device failure, deletion, operating-system issues, third-party storage providers, or user error.

4. Subscriptions and payments

LivestockBook may offer optional paid subscriptions, including LivestockBook Pro, through Apple’s App Store and any other supported platform made available in the future.

Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by the platform through which you purchased the subscription and are subject to that platform’s own terms and policies.

LivestockBook may use RevenueCat or similar services to validate subscription status and manage access to paid features.

5. Exports and shared files

LivestockBook allows you to generate exports such as PDF and spreadsheet files. You are responsible for checking exported content before using it for business, compliance, reporting, or sharing with other people or services.

Once an export is created or shared, LivestockBook is not responsible for how that file is stored, transmitted, accessed, or used by you or by third parties.

6. Availability and changes

LivestockBook may be updated, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features, subscription offerings, platform support, and integrations may change without notice.

While reasonable efforts may be made to keep the app available and functioning, LivestockBook is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

7. Third-party services

LivestockBook may rely on or link to third-party services, including app-store platforms, analytics providers, subscription-management services, email applications, websites, and community platforms.

Those third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. LivestockBook is not responsible for third-party content, service interruptions, or practices outside its control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LivestockBook and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or livestock-management outcomes arising from your use of the app.

You remain responsible for verifying records, compliance requirements, treatment information, and exported documents before relying on them.

9. Changes to these terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
